These sneaky wine cellars are so cool. But at $30,000 to install, it seems like B's grand idea of stacking bottles under the step to the patio is more likely.
So cool! Although, it also looks suspiciously like an injury waiting to happen. Maybe not to everyone, but certainly for me as I am the queen of forgetting to close doors, windows, portholes etc. Mix wine and a trapdoor and I would most certainly wind up in emerg.
Thanks for the comment you left on my blog yesterday, lady! I was having a rough one and you made me smile.
I'm not sure that the secret wine cellar would be a good plan for me. I'd have to bring all the wine up in one go (there is no way I could navigate those steps after having a drink) and that would sort of defeat the purpose, no? I love the idea of a secret staircase, though. Maybe leading to my cupcake stash?

Ahhhh, WANT! How awesome would that be?
Why is that so expensive? I totally want one!

You make a good point, Sarah. Also, going down into the cellar to get more wine when you've already drank a bottle... could be dangerous!
Those look SO cool! I don't drink wine, but I think I want a secret staircase anyway. haha!
Small-town Ontario?? Northern Ontario??

Or a secret library?
That might just be the coolest thing I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing!
